How tuition works
No surprises: here is what sets tuition, what the extras are for and where to find the figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the class and how many classes a week a dancer takes. The length of the class, the level and whether it is tap, jazz, the performance group or the grown-up class all play a part. The figures are on our registration page, and we are glad to talk them through on the phone.

Registration
A yearly registration covers the studio's file for your dancer, our insurance and your place in the parent portal. It is due when you register for the first session.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly by autopay through the parent portal, or by the session if you would rather pay once. The grown-up class can be paid by the session or by class card.
Siblings
A second dancer in the family, or a parent dancing beside a child, is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register and we will tell you how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class at the same level, or the level below, within the same session. Book it by text or at the door.
Withdrawing
We ask for two weeks' notice, by text or email, before a dancer leaves. A session in progress runs to its end unless we agree otherwise, and a costume that is already ordered for the recital is ordered, so tell us before costumes go in.
Costumes are ordered in the winter and billed before the June recital. The recital is billed on its own for the hall and the programs, and guests need tickets. Tap and jazz shoes and practice clothes are bought by the family. The performance group has an extra costume and may have a few community events. The registration page has every figure.
